Big News from The Crazy Goat Lady Shop… or Should I Say, Not-So-Crazy Anymore!

After much thought (and a few goat negotiations 🐐), I’m rebranding The Crazy Goat Lady Shop to Gracefully Unhinged!

My goats might be off to a new home, but the heart of the shop...Handmade Soaps, Lotions & More, and all the creations you've grown to love...are here to stay.

No goats were harmed in this rebrand… just a little chaos!

Handmade products at Gracefully UNHINGED Shop are made with (but not limited to) all natural oils and butters, goat milk powder, beef tallow, sustainable palm oil (RSPO), shea/mango/cocoa butter, organic coconut oil, activated charcoal, clays, skin safe fragrances and micas.

When you see Goat Milk Soap or Goat Milk Lotion, my main source for the products I create is currently goat milk powder.

How long will a typical bar of soap last??? Typically 3-4 weeks and depends greatly on the user, as well as ingredients. Beef tallow creates a little harder bar of soap, which tends to also make for a longer lasting bar.

Got a dark circle in the center of your soap? Dont fret, it happens…it went through a partial gel phase during the initial curing stage and over heated but not enough to gel the whole soap. It might appear cosmetically unappealing but has no negative affect on your soap!

Soda Ash on your soap is a result of unsaponified lye reacting with the air, leaving a white appearance on the outskirts of the soap. This may be cosmetically unappealing to the eye but has no ill effect on the soap itself!

SOAP CARE: Be sure to store your soap out of standing water. It is best to let dry between uses and use a well draining soap holder/dish to ensure a lasting bar.

ALLERGENS: Those with skin sensitivities are encouraged to test products on a small area of your skin prior to using on your entire body. I use a variety of different ingredients in my products. It is important that you are aware of ingredients/allergens that could affect you and know that it’s possible one product is in contact with another.

Wonderful fall smell and I just love all of the soaps that she offers. If you can't find a smell online, she also has a satellite spot at the Burnett Dairy Cheese store in Alpha, WI on State Rd 70.

How to pick a favorite?!?

I think this is the 5th or 6th lotion scent I've ordered since met Lonni at a vendor fair one fall! They are all wonderful, and I'm a fan of anything with a hint of vanilla or lavender. I've had products in both the bottle and the jar, but I prefer the jar. (Not a drop left in jar!) This product has good consistency for applying too. A good year-round lotion. (The coconut-verbana was EXQUISITE and luscious this winter💗)

U had me at Whipped

I've never tried a tallow product before, so am very happy with this! Super texture, not runny like lotions and you don't need much. Sexier than my mom's Udder Balm. Plus it smells AMAZING. Love the canister too!
